It weighs about 40.70 carats and was cut in the 1700s. Its on display in the Green Vaults (no relation) of Dresden along with hundreds of other amazing similar pieces. It came to the US in the early 2000s and was displayed at the Smithsonian near the Hope Diamond (45 carats).
